I introduced The Ones in 2015 with the release of The Pretext, the first self-produced project in the collection. When I started The Ones, I thought of ways to create an acronym using the initials in the name of my hometown Truth or Consequences or commonly referred to as T or C. I  got the idea performing at shows throughout New Mexico in 2014. I noticed that almost every venue I played, someone would approach me afterward entirely perplexed about the name of my hometown. I would hear things like "what is Truth or Consequences?" or "they said you come from where?". I saw both a lack of awarenesses and an opportunity to bring awareness.

The Ones Chose (TOC) was born. The Ones who follow their inclination's to the ultimate ends — The Ones who find a way before they find an excuse. When I started producing, I had no prior experience or mentor. I had a goal to use what little knowledge of music I had to create a project from nothing and I've been doing that ever since. If you separate me from The One's music collection, no part of it exist. Every sound and lyric would vanish. I find a way to accomplish the things I set out to because of my ability to create with love. No matter the outcome, I work until I love the effort I put forth. Even if the result is inferior to contemporary work, I can rest easy knowing that I create with love and that I love what I create. I keep this mentality, be it writing, production or design. I believe art is relative. Areas lacking can be buffered with effort. Though in most cases my drive may far exceed my talent,  my efforts will remain coupled with love. With that, I take great pleasure in welcoming you to The Ones.
